Sabine Lacey is a German-born, Italy-based visual artist. She is co-founder of MARC, a research hub focusing on the intersection of technology and creative practices.
Lacey earned her B.A. in Fine Arts from ATU Galway in Ireland in 2012. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions throughout Ireland, as well as a show in New York and a collateral event at the 56th Venice Biennale. In 2015, she held a solo exhibition at the Ballina Arts Centre in Ireland titled "Unspoken." Her continued focus on the convergence of painting and photography is captured in a recent artist's book published by MARC Editions titled 'Hartnäckiges Geflüster' in 2025. She has worked as a workshop leader and facilitator focusing on groups that include individuals with intellectual disabilities, women's groups, and children.
